Silent film performances in Tokyo & Kyoto

I’m thrilled to be invited back to the National Film Center in Tokyo for their Silent Film Renaissance next week, as well as my silent film accompanist debut in Kyoto at the Kyoto Historica International Film Festival in the following week. Silent Film Renaissance 2013 (Tokyo)

This is a part of Silent Film Renaissance 2013: A Selection of Lois Weber Films – Part 2, an established program that shows quality silent films with live piano accompaniment and the oral explanation of the benshi film narrator.
