I haven’t played in Manhattan for almost a year, but I am pleased to announce that I will be playing at the Museum of Modern Art this month, as one of the three pianists who will be executing “Vexations”, a one-page piano piece written by Erik Satie with the instruction to repeat it 840 times, which John Cage premiered in 1963.
